Effective November 6, 2026
This policy explains what information Morning Lamp (“the app”), published by HarvezApps, collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or microphone audio. The app does not use advertising or third-party analytics, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Only to provide the app's features: saving your progress, syncing between your devices, and restoring your alarms and journal. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your data is stored on your device and in our database hosted by Supabase, on servers in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit, and each account's data is protected so that only that account can read or change it.
If you subscribe to Morning Lamp Premium, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. Google tells the app only whether your subscription is active, so it can unlock Premium features.
Devotional audio is streamed from the Internet Archive (archive.org), which receives standard request information such as your IP address. Verses are read aloud by your device's built-in text-to-speech, which runs on your phone.
The app asks permission to send notifications and schedule alarms. These are scheduled on your device and contain no personal information beyond your alarm label.
You can delete your account and all synced data at any time in the app under Settings → Delete my data. See Delete your data for other options. Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
